Our Services

Although we specialise in callout and fault finding, we also offer a complete range of electrical installation work, from changing a faulty switch to complete rewires of domestic and commercial properties. We also provide a complete inspection and testing service for private home owners, property buyers/sellers, landlords, property management and insurance companies.

We are responsible for the common areas in over 200 estates, as well as hundreds of individual blocks of flats within our operational area. This includes both preventative maintenance and offering a fast response to faults reported. We are able to carry out regular inspection and testing of lighting and power supplies within common and communal areas as well as regular inspection, testing and maintenance of emergency lighting and fire detection systems. Some of the largest property management companies in the UK trust us to look after the needs of over 5000 residents and make sure their supplies within these common areas are fully compliant to the latest regulations and working well. We’re also able to look after all types of automatic opening smoke vents offering a one stop complete management package.

Automatic Opening Windows

Commercial and multiple occupancy buildings are required by law to provide clear escape routes, free from smoke to allow occupants unimpeded escape, as well as providing first responders and fire crews access during an emergency.

Domestic Installations

It is important that any electrical installation work is carried out only by people who are competent. This means people who have the knowledge, skills and experience needed to avoid dangers to themselves and others that electricity can create.

Commercial

From initial design stage to final commissioning, we can tailor a package to suit each individual client. We currently advise, install, inspect and test for a number of leading high street retailers. They trust us to make the right recommendations and decisions regarding their electrical installations.

Electrical Inspections for home buyers/sellers

All electrical installations deteriorate with age and use and although legally a Domestic Electrical Installation Condition Report is not required prior to selling a property, more and more potential buyers are insisting upon it before they complete.

Landlord's Inspections

Are you aware that failing to maintain, inspect and test the electrical installations within these properties can leave you open to prosecution and fines of £30,000 per breach of safety rules.

Service Agreements for Landlords, Private Individuals and Property Management Companies

ElectriciansOnCall is able to offer 3 levels of service agreement for domestic properties based upon your individual requirements with savings of over £500.00 on even our basic Bronze package.

Fire Alarms

All landlords are obliged to ensure a carbon monoxide alarm is installed in any room of their homes where there is a fixed combustion appliance (including a gas boiler). Where a new fixed combustion appliance is installed, a carbon monoxide alarm will be required to be installed by law.

Electric Vehicle Charging

The UK is seeing a growing number of electric vehicles (EVs) on the road. Since 2012, the EV stock in the country is doubling year on year. The UK government is also making EV development a priority.

Is your Home an Electrical House of Horrors?

A study by Electrical Safety First has identified that risky behaviour in the home is leading to a huge number of accidents, which peak on Saturday evenings when four accidents take place every second. Their ‘Home Safe’ campaign highlights that even the smallest mishap can lead to devastating consequences.
